Black Bear Crossings café proudly displays the painting of local Native American artist Behon LaPrairie on the walls of the first floor cafe. As you walk up to the café counter, you notice the wood panels depicting the seven clans, in both Ojibwe (upper) and Potawatomi (lower) languages. Even our flavored lattes are named after the 11 reservations in Minnesota. We also stock a modest display case with mostly local, native artist to include a variety of jewelry, moccasins, birch bark crafts, wild rice (hand-harvested & wood-parched) etc. Our selection changes frequently, so check back often!
